My photos are genuine photos of actual birds in their environment. I enhance the photos to make them more pleasing and to display (as best as possible) what I see and perceive when I am out and about with nature.

These enhancements include contrast, brightness, saturation and cropping. I do NOT replace skies NOR place the birds in another background that wasn't there. I do NOT use generative AI, but I use AI for sharpness and Noise reduction, tweaked to my taste (so the final decision is mine).

I do however remove branches and twigs or other things that could not be left out of the frame at the time of shooting. It is a fine balance between art and reality.
